KG Project Day 2023-2024 From vibrant circles to playful triangles, our kindergarten students have been busy exploring the fascinating world of shapes and colors, and today, they are showcasing their creativity and ingenuity through an array of captivating projects!
SPORTS MEET
The sports day wasn’t just about individual performances; it was a celebration of teamwork, sportsmanship, and joy. As the little athletes displayed their talents, the spectators were treated to an enchanting display with the theme “Minions.” The vibrant colors, adorable costumes, and synchronized performances won the hearts of all present, making the sports display a memorable spectacle. Amidst the cheers and laughter, champions emerged from each section, celebrated for their skill, determination, and teamwork. The sports day showcased physical abilities and healthy competition among the young participants.
BOOGIE WOODIES TINYTYROS FEST
Boogie Woogie with Tiny Tyros, the interschool Sports and Cultural Fest was hosted on the 4th of November 2023 at SBOA, Ernakulam. The event had the participation of 22 schools from all around Ernakulam. The inaugural function was graced by the presence of Smt. Sreekumari Ramachandran, a well-known Malayalam novelist, orator and dancer. The valedictory function was presided over by Mr. Manoj Mathasherril, artist and cartoonist. The overall trophy was lifted by As-Shams Pre School, Mattanchery while St. Peters Senior Secondary School won the runners-up trophy.

Happy Independence day wishes. From a thought to Instill the importance of our history and this day in the young minds, different programs were organized. Our students participated in all with great enthusiasm. It was really surprising to see the beautiful efforts of our budding stars.
“Plastic pollution free world is a not a choice but commitment to life- a commitment to the next generation” As part of our independence day celebration our tiny tots and the parents wholeheartedly joined their hands for human chain – a free plastic movement initiative by SBOA public school.

Yoga Day
Yoga has become a global culture with their celebration every year on an international level as international Yoga day on 21st June. Yoga is not just an exercise for the body but the mind and soul too. Yoga is recognised all over the world for the sole reason being it doesnt only cares one’s physical well being but nurtures emotional ,mental and spiritual connect. Yoga asanas help kids understand how their body works in sync with their breath to get whole system together. This awareness help them respect ,love and take care of their body. Kudos to our natural yogis….
Music Day
International Music day is on 21st June. Music is known to be the universal language of humanity. It has the power to bring positivity in lives of people. it hold the power to transform emotions in no time. Music helps us in expressing ourselves easily. We celebrated music day to motivate young budding talents to initiate their steps and perform. And they spread love of music around us…..

CHILDREN'S DAY CELEBRATIONS
Children’s Day is the most auspicious day in the life of every child. Children’s Day is celebrated on 14th November every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of our first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. He loved children dearly and is fondly remembered as Chacha Nehru by them. KG dept celebrated children’s day with great joy .Students pinned red roses on their dress and Asher Vibin of UKG dressed up as Chacha Nehru. Prizes were distributed for the winners of Talents day.
KERALA PIRAVI
To the land of unmatched legacy, Happy Kerala Piravi. A festival of festivities, celebrating the grandeur and the cultural heritage of Kerala, which is loved by all of us. KG Department celebrated Kerala Piravi. Dhruv K P dressed up as Parasurama and Durga R Marar gave a beautiful speech on Keralapiravi. Children were also given an insight about Kerala’s traditions and culture, a small quiz was held based on the same and children were given rewards.
BHOOMIKA TINY TYROS FEST 2022
SBOA Public Sr Sec School hosted an inter school sports and cultural competition Bhooomika Tiny Tyros on 28th Oct’22. Eighteen schools from different parts of Ernakulam participated in different events.The fest was inaugurated by Ret.Prof M Thomas Mathew of Maharaja’s college Ernakulam.The prizes were distributed to the winners by the famous Lyricist Shri. Chittoor Gopi. Peace International school got the overall championship award.
DIWALI CELEBRATIONS
Diwali is one of the famous and the biggest festival of India. It is also called ‘The Festival of Lights’. Shri Ram with Sita and Laxman returned to Ayodhya after 14 years in the jungle and for this purpose we celebrate this festival.The day is filled with joy and happiness. Everyone love this festival very much. Our KG department celebrated Diwali with lots of joy and enthusiasm. Children came in colour dress and brought sweets which they shared among themselves. Children dressed up as Shri Ram, Sita,Laxman and Hanuman and the story was narrated. Cupcandles were also lightened.
World Food Day
World Food Day is celebrated annually on 16th October. This day is remembered as an action dedicated to tackling global hunger. These events promote worldwide awareness and action for those who suffer from hunger and for the need to ensure food security and nutritious diets for all. To make the day more special our KG students along with KG Superintendent Audrey mam , teachers and parents visited Valsalya Bhavan which is an orphanage located in vaduthala. Children were given food and snacks. The inmates of Valsalya Bhavan sang songs and played instruments and our KG children also sang songs which made everyone happy
World Postal Day
The KG students celebrated the world postal day on 10th October 2022 by making greeting cards. They were taken to the Chittoor Post Office, where they posted their letters in the post box. They also interacted with the post office staff, saw various types of stamps. They were also given information about various services provided by the postal department. It was a learning experience and a pleasurable day for the children.
