DESCRIPTION:Sattva 25–26\, the Annual Day of SBOA Public Senior Secondary School\, was celebrated on 4th December 2025 with great splendour. The school welcomed Dr. M. C. Dilip Kumar\, former Vice-Chancellor of Shri Shankaracharya University of Sanskrit\, Kalady\, as the Chief Guest\, and Dr. Satish Bino\, DIG of Police\, Ernakulam Range\, as the esteemed Alumni Guest. \nThe occasion was further graced by dignitaries: Shri A. Senthil Ramesh\, Secretary and Correspondent\, SBIOA Educational Trust\, Chennai; Shri Lazer Jeyprakash\, Associate Secretary\, SBIOA Educational Trust\, Chennai; Shri Prakash S\, Treasurer\, SBIOA Educational Trust\, Chennai; Shri Anbarasu R.\, Correspondent\, SBIOA Model School\, Chennai; Shri Praveen C.\, Correspondent\, SBOA Public Senior Secondary School\, Ernakulam; and Smt. Vimala Devi\, Management Committee Member\, SBIOA Educational Trust. \nPrincipal Smt. Sonia Susan Varkey welcomed the guests\, with H.M. Smt. Priya Menon and A.H.M. Smt. Treasa T. Biju contributing to the coordination. Ms. Jemy Maria Prem\, Best Outgoing Student 25–26\, received her trophy from Shri A. Senthil Ramesh. Board toppers Ms. Ananya Mohan (SSE 24–25) and Rudra Raj (SSCE 24–25) were honoured\, with Ms. Rudra also receiving Rs. 25\,000 from PTA President Shri Prem Kumar. PTA awards\, Academic Proficiency awards\, Board Exam A1 Listers\, Centum holders\, and Subject Toppers of 24–25 were also felicitated. \nCultural programmes by students of LKG–IX and XI showcased vibrant talent\, with opportunities provided to almost all who wished to perform. The presentations under the banner “Sattva 25–26” captivated the audience. All dignitaries appreciated the enthusiastic participation and the efforts of the teachers and staff\, making Sattva 25–26 a memorable celebration of tradition\, pride\, and youthful energy.

SUMMARY:CELESTIA FIESTA – Interschool Quiz Competition and Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:Celestia Fiesta 2025\, a two-day inter-school festival on astronomy and space science\, was conducted at SBOA Public (Sr. Sec.) School\, Ernakulam with great enthusiasm. The event offered students hands-on exposure to space technology through exhibitions\, competitions\, and expert interactions. \nA major highlight of the inaugural ceremony was the digital lamp lighting using a mobile-controlled robotic system\, symbolising the fusion of tradition with modern science. The programme was inaugurated by Shri. S. Sivasubramony\, Deputy Director\, MIS Area\, ISRO Inertial Systems Unit\, who delivered an inspiring talk supported by real ISRO mission videos. \nThe Night Sky Photography segment drew special attention with its stunning astronomical visuals. The Space Science & Technology Exhibition\, organised with technical support from ISRO\, featured interactive models and innovative student exhibits that received high appreciation from the seven visiting schools over two days. \nThe inter-school quiz\, conducted in collaboration with ISRO and organised by Q Collective\, saw participation from 25 schools\, with 20 schools sending two teams each. \nQuiz Results:\n1st – Bhavan’s Adarsh Vidyalaya\n2nd – Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir\, Girinagar\n3rd – Saraswati Vidya Niketan \nThe event concluded with a valedictory ceremony led by Smt. K. Devaki Kunneriath\, Associate Scientist\, National Radio Astronomy Observatory (USA) and an alumna of SBOA\, who awarded prizes and encouraged students to pursue scientific excellence.
